Encouraging Youth to Settle in Local Companies through Improved Work Environment and Expanded Welfare Spaces
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 14th that it has selected 15 companies as support targets for the 'Small and Medium Enterprise Working Environment Improvement Project' aimed at improving workers' labor conditions and welfare.
This project, which started last year with an investment of 200 million KRW by Jinju City, supports up to 20 million KRW per company to improve the poor working environment of small and medium enterprises.
The city selected the final 15 beneficiary companies through an on-site survey and review by the Corporate Activity Support Committee following the project announcement in February. The selected 15 companies can receive subsidies after on-site inspections upon completion of construction, and must bear 50% of the total construction cost.
Meanwhile, Jinju City is promoting various support projects to foster small and medium enterprises, including subsidies for new hires at startup companies, credit guarantee fee support for startups, support funds for small and medium enterprises, and technical support for small and medium enterprises.
