[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seung-jin] Hanse Dream, which donated clothing worth 5 billion KRW last month for child soldiers in the civil war area of South Sudan, has started a sponsorship campaign targeting infants and children in Indonesia.
On the 14th, Hanse Dream announced that it will donate clothing and supplies worth approximately 1.1 billion KRW, totaling about 42,000 items, to vulnerable areas in Jakarta, Indonesia, in partnership with the Korea Youth Promotion Association. This year alone, Hanse Dream has participated in donations totaling 6.1 billion KRW.
The donated items are from its Moimoln product line and will be delivered to infants and children at schools and orphanages located in Jakarta through the local nonprofit organization ‘Yayasan Harapan Kepompong Kecil.’ The package includes various supplies, underwear, and clothing, departing from Incheon Port on the 22nd and expected to arrive at Jakarta Port about two weeks later.
Hanse Dream’s global donation activities for children have been ongoing for seven consecutive years since 2015.

Hanse Dream will continue to carry out various CSR activities and strive to be a source of support, big or small, for children around the world who are enduring difficult times due to social indifference and COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, Hanse Dream is a subsidiary of Hanse Yes24 Holdings and operates leading domestic children’s clothing brands such as Curly Sue, Moimoln, Play Kids Pro, Converse Kids, and Levi’s Kids.
