Songpa-gu Hosts 'Employment Success Ilgu Day'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) will hold the 'Employment Success Ilgu Day' at 3 PM on the 14th in the main auditorium of Songpa-gu Office.

'Ilgu Day' means 'a day to find a job' and is a small-scale job fair that pre-matches recruiting companies and job seekers so that interviews and hiring can proceed on site.

Last year, Songpa-gu also held a total of three 'Ilgu Days,' resulting in 60 people obtaining jobs. In particular, under collaboration with the private sector, excellent companies in the information security field were discovered, and 11 people succeeded in employment in specialized occupations at SK Infosec, AhnLab, and others.

This 'Ilgu Day' will be held on a small scale to prevent the spread of COVID-19. About 80 job seekers pre-matched with HR managers from four companies in fields such as production, picking, meal assistance, and nursing will conduct one-on-one interviews.

Additionally, for some applicants, non-face-to-face video interviews will be conducted simultaneously using the online video conferencing program 'Remote Meeting.'

Going forward, Songpa-gu plans to continuously provide services such as job placement and employment retention by registering job openings and job seekers at the Songpa Job Center for companies and job seekers participating in 'Ilgu Day.'
