Pukyong National University Professors Kim Gundo and Wang Jepil Donate Full 5 Million Won Academic Award Prize to Development Fund

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professors donated their academic award prize money to the university.

On the 13th, Pukyong National University (President Jang Young-soo) announced that Professor Kim Gundo (Department of Microbiology) and Professor Wang Jae-pil (Department of Metallurgical Engineering) each donated 5 million won to Pukyong National University as a development fund.

Professors Kim and Wang donated the entire prize money they received for winning the 25th Pukyong National University Academic Award this year, asking that it be used for the development of the university.

They received the academic award and prize money at the 75th anniversary ceremony held on the 7th in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters, in recognition of their contributions to academic development by publishing excellent papers in domestic and international academic journals.

Pukyong National University plans to use this development fund for education and research support, as well as improving the educational environment.
