Actor Lee Je-hoon and announcer Ju Si-eun appointed as ambassadors for Statistics Korea's Economic Census promotion

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Statistics Korea announced on the 13th that actor Lee Je-hoon and announcer Ju Si-eun have been appointed as ambassadors for the '2020 Economic Census.'

The two ambassadors will carry out various promotional activities, including TV commercial modeling, to encourage businesses to actively participate in the Economic Census.

Ryu Geun-gwan, Commissioner of Statistics Korea, said, "We hope to raise public awareness of the importance of the Economic Census and create an atmosphere where respondents actively participate in the survey."

The Economic Census is conducted every five years targeting businesses nationwide to understand the overall economic activities of South Korea. It will be conducted from next month 14th to July 30th through both face-to-face and non-face-to-face methods.
