[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Raonpeople announced on the 13th that it has acquired a total of three patents, including two global patents related to ‘Efficient Display Panel Compensation Method through Deep Learning’ and ‘Test Environment Setting Method Based on Machine Learning Environment,’ as well as one domestic technology patent concerning ‘Substrate Defect Inspection Device and Method.’
These patents are specialized technologies in AI inspection and inspection environments within the machine vision field, developed in response to the establishment of smart factory environments by domestic and international manufacturing companies. The patent related to the ‘Device and Method for Compensating Output of Display Panels’ adjusts weights for parts of the panel where specific values are not output through AI deep learning. It can automatically identify defects that were previously difficult to detect. According to the company, this technology enables fast and accurate defect verification as well as identification of various defect patterns.
Additionally, the patent concerning the ‘Method and Device for Setting Test Environment Based on Machine Learning Environment’ is an ultra-high-speed AI system application technology for detecting defects in PCB substrates, developed under a national research and development project. This patent provides guidance for configuring the test environment, setting it similarly to actual learning environments, and through AI and deep learning training under various and special conditions, it enables detection of even irregular defects.
Furthermore, the ‘Substrate Defect Inspection Device and Method’ is a technology that eliminates the need for human re-verification of defects in circuit board inspections such as PCBs. A Raonpeople official stated, “In the future, manufacturing companies can improve manufacturing yield through precise and accurate inspections using AI vision inspections applied with each patented technology, without the need for additional operators or inspection equipment, expecting low-cost and high-efficiency effects.
