Yogiyo's Orders for 'Rose' Menu Items Increase Eightfold in One Year

The 'Rose' Trend Reflects in the Food Delivery Market as Well

Yogiyo's Orders for 'Rose' Menu Items Increase Eightfold in One Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Delivery Hero Korea (CEO Kang Shin-bong) announced on the 13th that an analysis of order data from the delivery app 'Yogiyo' revealed that the number of orders for 'Rose' menu items, which have recently gained popularity in the dining industry, increased more than eightfold compared to the same month last year.

This survey analyzed data related to 'Rose' menu items during the same period in March last year and this year. Yogiyo attributed the significant increase in orders to the rising popularity of rose sauce, prompting restaurants to competitively launch various new menu items.

The popularity of rose sauce was also reflected in the number of menu registrations and takeout orders. The number of 'Rose' menu items registered on the Yogiyo app increased more than 2.6 times over the past year. Additionally, from February to March this year alone, the number of menu registrations increased by more than 110%. Takeout orders for 'Rose' menu items in March this year increased by 220% compared to the previous month.

Kim Hyun-deuk, Head of Data at Delivery Hero Korea, explained, "The trends in dining culture are directly reflected in delivery apps. As a variety of menus become available through delivery apps, it is expected that dining trends can be identified even more rapidly through these platforms in the future."
