Hampyeong-gun Opens Pre-Registration for COVID-19 Vaccination for Ages 60-74

[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will accept advance reservations for COVID-19 vaccinations for those aged 60 to 74, which will be conducted from the 27th of this month to June 19.

This vaccination will be carried out at 11 designated medical institutions in the area, and the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine will be administered.

The county has set periods by age group to accept reservations sequentially for smooth vaccination.

Currently, advance reservations for vaccination are being accepted until June 3 for those aged 70 to 74 (born 1947?1951) and 65 to 69 (born 1952?1956), and vaccinations can be received from May 27 to June 19.

Additionally, those aged 60 to 64 (born 1957?1961), kindergarten, daycare, and elementary school grades 1?2 teachers and care personnel, essential social workers, healthcare workers, and care workers who were not vaccinated in the second quarter can make reservations from May 13 to June 3 and receive vaccinations from June 7 to 19.

Reservations can be made by the individual or a proxy through the ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Advance Reservation Website.’

If internet reservation is difficult, reservations can also be made by phone through the Disease Control Headquarters call center, Jeonnam Province call center, Hampyeong-gun Public Health Center, or the town and township offices.

On the day of vaccination, visit the vaccination institution (hospital or clinic) at the reserved time wearing comfortable clothing and bringing identification.

If health conditions are not good and the schedule needs to be changed, cancellations can be made online or via call center up to two days before the vaccination; cancellations on the day before or the day of vaccination should be made by contacting the reserved vaccination institution (hospital or clinic).

County Governor Lee Sang-ik stated, “We ask for the active participation of local residents so that we can return to daily life as soon as possible through vaccination.”
