Jeonnam Agricultural, Livestock, and Marine Products Delivered at Dawn via Coupang Rocket Fresh

Do-Coupang-Nonghyup Sign Business Agreement to Expand Online Sales Channels

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam agricultural, livestock, and marine products can now be delivered nationwide at dawn through Coupang Rocket Fresh.

On the 12th, Jeonnam Province announced that it signed a business agreement with Coupang and the Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) to promote the consumption of Jeonnam agricultural, livestock, and marine products and expand online sales channels.

The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam Province; Yoon Hye-young, Vice President of Coupang Retail; and Park Seo-hong, Head of the Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of NACF.

According to the agreement, excellent agricultural and marine products carefully cultivated by Jeonnam farmers and fishermen, such as Gwangyang maesil (green plums), Damyang strawberries, and Naju pears, will be conveniently available nationwide through Coupang Rocket Fresh’s dawn and same-day delivery services.

The province will establish a production and supply system for fresh and safe high-quality agricultural, livestock, and marine products to support online transactions.

The Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of NACF will ensure smooth supply and logistics support for Coupang’s delivery volumes.

Coupang will assist in promoting and marketing Jeonnam agricultural products to expand producers’ online sales channels. Additionally, Coupang will support various marketing efforts using main advertising banners and other tools to help stabilize farmers’ incomes and increase sales.

Vice President Yoon Hye-young said, “We are pleased to showcase excellent agricultural, livestock, and marine products carefully grown by local farmers and fishermen nationwide through Coupang Rocket Fresh,” adding, “We will strive to support Jeonnam farmers and fishermen by increasing sales through Coupang.”

Head Park Seo-hong stated, “We take pride in the quality and taste of Jeonnam’s agricultural specialty products as the best in the nation,” and added, “We will actively cooperate to promote Jeonnam’s agricultural specialty products online and revitalize online transactions through Coupang.”

Governor Kim Young-rok said, “Jeonnam is number one in eco-friendly agricultural products and the top place for quality food,” emphasizing, “We will do our best to promote the excellence of Jeonnam’s agricultural specialty products through Coupang and ensure customer satisfaction leads to continued purchases by supplying high-quality agricultural, livestock, and marine products and expanding sales channels.”
