Mobile Laundry Service 'Laundrigo' Launches Contactless Repair Service

Establishment of a Dedicated Repair Factory and Massive Recruitment of Repair and Fashion Experts Reflecting Young Trends

Mobile Laundry Service 'Laundrigo' Launches Contactless Repair Service

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Uisikju Company (CEO Jo Sung-woo), which operates the mobile laundry service ‘Laundrigo,’ announced on the 12th that it has established a dedicated garment repair factory and will launch a ‘contactless mobile repair service.’

The Laundrigo repair service allows customers to take photos of their clothing with a smartphone and apply repair areas and requests with a one-touch method, enabling the entire repair process to be conveniently conducted contactlessly without visiting an offline store. Customers can compare before and after photos of repairs, providing more accurate repair services than face-to-face orders.

Through this, Laundrigo customers can use the repair service via the existing app and Laundret. Detailed orders are possible not only for basic repairs but also for luxury garments, and all work is offered at reasonable prices compared to the market through fixed pricing.

In particular, to launch a professional repair service, Laundrigo established a repair factory of approximately 330㎡, equipped with the latest global repair facilities and systems. Additionally, it recruited numerous experts with over 20 to 30 years of experience, including representatives of online repair specialist brands and professionals from luxury and major corporate fashion brands.

According to the industry, the domestic repair market, centered on offline stores such as department stores and large marts, accounts for more than 99% and is formed at a scale of about 1.3 trillion KRW. Similar to the rapid growth of the mobile laundry market, the mobile repair industry is also expected to grow significantly in the future. Laundrigo plans to provide a service that customers can trust and resolve from laundry to repair at once through contactless mobile laundry and repair infrastructure, and will sequentially introduce necessary services to customers through big data analysis of laundry and repair usage in the future.

Jo Sung-woo, CEO of Uisikju Company, said, "As the online fashion market, including overseas luxury and resale markets, rapidly grows, related repair demand is also increasing significantly, but it still relies on offline methods," adding, "We will open the mobile era of full-scale repairs through contactless mobile services."
