[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance and Kyobo Education Foundation announced on the 11th that they are accepting applications for the 6th session of the 'Change Program,' which cultivates youth leaders, until the 23rd.
This year, 40 youths aged from 2nd year middle school to 2nd year high school will be selected to receive leadership training over four months from June to September. Participation in the program is completely free, and outstanding participants will also receive learning support funds.
In particular, the Change Program has been completely revised with expert advice, including leadership education, to help youths systematically acquire the competencies needed for future society.
The 6th session participants will take part in the 'I Change' course and the 'WE Change' course to systematically develop self-leadership and team leadership. The education will be conducted online, with offline experiential education such as volunteer activities planned.
Youths who wish to participate can apply online through the Change website.
Seon Jong-hak, Chairman of the Kyobo Education Foundation, said, "We have newly organized the Change Program to nurture talents needed in this rapidly changing era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and COVID-19," adding, "We hope many youths who want to find and solve problems on their own and develop leadership will show great interest and participate."
