Gimhae City Increases Property Tax Benefit for Good Landlords to 75%

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam announced on the 11th that it will expand the property tax reduction for good landlords (building owners) who reduced rent for small business owners from the existing 50% to 75%.

The reduction applies to owners of buildings as of the tax base date (June 1) who reduced the monthly rent for small business owners for three months or more during the period from January to December 2021.

Cases corresponding to high-end entertainment venues such as nightclubs are excluded.

The concentrated application period for the reduction is from yesterday until June 18.

Applicants can submit the reduction application form downloaded from the city hall website, lease contract, and bank transaction statements to the city tax department or the eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers.
