According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 11th, 11 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 overnight, classified as cases 2508 to 2518.
Among them, 3 confirmed cases have unidentified infection routes, 2 are related to entertainment establishments in the Sangmu district, 2 are related to a high school in Gwangsan-gu, 3 are related to existing confirmed cases, and 1 is an imported case.
Cases 2508, 2511, and 2514 have infection routes that have not yet been identified, and health authorities are investigating epidemiologically to determine them.
Case 2509 is a family member of case 2508, and case 2510 is a contact of case 2499, who was confirmed positive the previous day. The infection route of case 2499 remains unknown.
Case 2513 was confirmed positive during a test before release from self-quarantine related to case 2380. The infection route of case 2380, confirmed on the 26th of last month, has not yet been revealed.
Cases 2515 and 2516 are known to be related to a high school in Gwangsan-gu. These are secondary infections from a student confirmed positive at the high school. So far, 25 people have been confirmed positive in connection with the Gwangsan-gu high school.
Cases 2517 and 2518 are classified as related to entertainment establishments in the Sangmu district. The total number of confirmed cases related to the Sangmu district entertainment establishments is 15.
