[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education will announce the successful candidates of the '2021 1st Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduation Equivalency Examination' held on the 10th of last month through the Office of Education's website at 10 a.m. on the 11th.
According to the Office of Education on the 10th, a total of 1,035 candidates took the equivalency exam this time, and 840 candidates, accounting for 81.16% of all examinees, passed.
This is a slight increase compared to the average pass rate of 79.3% in the 2nd equivalency exam last year and is the highest average pass rate in the equivalency exams over the past 10 years.
The oldest successful candidates in the equivalency exam were ▲ Elementary school graduate Kim (80, female) ▲ Middle school graduate Seong (79, female) ▲ High school graduate Park (75, female), who earned the honor of passing.
Certificates related to the equivalency exam (certificate of passing, transcript, subject pass certificate) can be issued starting from the 11th by logging in with the applicant's joint certificate on the Home Edu Civil Service of the Office of Education website.
They can also be issued through administrative offices of all elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, education office civil service centers, and unmanned civil service issuance machines at community centers.
Passing certificates will be issued at the General Affairs Department of the Office of Education (Main Building 1st floor) from the 11th to the 24th.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for the convenience of examinees, postal issuance will also be conducted. For the postal issuance application form and method, please refer to the 'Notice Board - Exam Announcements' on the Office of Education website.
