Establishment of Joint Research Center... Agreement to Develop Autonomous Vehicle Comfort Seats
Bodyfriend is signing an MOU to establish an affiliated research center with Kookmin University and Osstem.
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 6th with Kookmin University (President Lim Hong-jae) and Osstem (CEO Kim Jung-woo) to establish and operate an affiliated research center for the development of massage chair seats in autonomous vehicles.
Through this MOU, the three institutions will jointly establish the 'Kookmin University·Bodyfriend·Osstem Affiliated Research Center' and jointly develop massage chair seats for autonomous vehicles equipped with smart mobility massage systems and healthcare functions.
Bodyfriend is conducting research on digital healthcare implemented inside cars by combining its accumulated massage chair technology with digital technologies such as big data, cloud, and artificial intelligence.
Kookmin University is also well known for its automotive engineering technology. As the only automotive convergence university in Korea, it is recognized for its excellent education system and research competitiveness, standing at the forefront of the future automotive field. Osstem is also a leading company with technological competitiveness in automotive parts.
