Hapcheon County Council Conducts Legislative Training in Preparation for 1st Regular Session

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam announced on the 10th that it conducted legislative training in the conference room of the Blue House set located within the Yeongsang Theme Park in Yongju-myeon in preparation for the first regular session of 2021.

The purpose of the training was "to become a sound check-and-balance force against the executive branch through training focused on practical cases of council operation strategies and meeting facilitation techniques." The detailed schedule included special lectures in the order of "Settlement Audit Techniques (Dr. Kim Hwacheong)," "Amendment of the Local Autonomy Act and the Role of the Council (Dr. Choi Inhye)," and "Council Member Ethics Education (Professor Kim Seongsam)."

Chairman Bae Jong-hee said, "Although the training is conducted locally with a minimal schedule to comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, I hope it will be a time to thoroughly learn the essential content and contribute to the review of the 2020 fiscal year settlement bill to be addressed at the first regular session."
