NH Nonghyup Card Partners with KakaoPay for City Gas Bill Payment Service

13 City Gas Companies Allow Payment with NongHyup Card Registered on KakaoPay

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 10th that it has partnered with KakaoPay to introduce a city gas bill payment service.

Launched on the 28th of last month, this service allows users to receive city gas bills via KakaoTalk and pay the bills using NH Nonghyup Card registered on KakaoPay.

The city gas companies eligible for payment through this service total 13: Samchully City Gas, Incheon City Gas, JB, Daesung, Daesung Cheongjeong, CNCITY, GSE, Daehwa, Chambit, Chambit Wonju, Chambit Yeongdong, Chambit Chungbuk, and Gwittrami. Notably, single card payments are now possible for 11 companies that previously did not accept card payments, enhancing customer convenience.

To commemorate the service launch, NH Nonghyup Card is also holding an event for automatic payment applications for Samchully City Gas bills. The event runs from today until the 30th of next month and is open to NH Nonghyup Card (Chaeum) individual card members. During the event period, the first 3,000 customers who apply for automatic payment of Samchully City Gas bills via KakaoPay using NH Nonghyup Card and make their first payment will receive a 3,000 KRW cashback. The cashback will be deposited into the payment account of the card used by the end of July.

An NH Nonghyup Card representative said, "To enhance customer convenience, we expanded our payment infrastructure by partnering with KakaoPay, which offers easy accessibility," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide high-quality services."
