ITM Semiconductor Obtains Battery Pack Patent Including Battery Protection Circuit Modules

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] ITM Semiconductor announced on the 10th that it has obtained a patent for a 'battery protection circuit module and a battery pack including the same.'

The company stated, "This patent pertains to a protection circuit module and a battery pack applied thereto, utilizing the original patents of a novel integrated circuit (IC) and metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) that we have acquired. We will lead the secondary battery market by leveraging this patent, which can overcome the limitations of existing protection circuits in terms of miniaturization and heat generation."
