[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] SC First Bank is expanding its digital channels in the Wealth Management (WM) sector. This move is analyzed as an effort to provide WM services to more customers while targeting the digitally savvy MZ generation.
According to SC First Bank on the 10th, the ‘Wealth Care Lounge’ is now available on the mobile banking application (app) starting today. The Wealth Care Lounge is a service where global asset management experts directly provide the latest investment trends and wealth management information. It includes financial market trends, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment techniques, financial planning, and webinar content.
A dedicated KakaoTalk channel and Naver Post page for Wealth Care have also been launched. By subscribing to the KakaoTalk channel, users receive investment information newsletters and news about wealth management events. They can also receive a series of content related to wealth management.
Meanwhile, a promotion to celebrate the channel expansion is underway. All customers who subscribe to push notifications on the SC First Bank app will receive a beverage gifticon, and 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive a 10,000 KRW coupon for Baedal Minjok (a food delivery service).
Colin Chiang, Head of the Wealth Management Division (Executive Director) at SC First Bank, stated, “The purpose of expanding digital channels is to easily provide refined information and market trends to general customers thirsty for Wealth Care,” and evaluated, “The MZ generation will also encounter safer and healthier investment guides.”
