Selection of 285 Personnel for Public Service Support and COVID-19 Response Tasks Including Quarantine... Applications Accepted Through Each Dong Community Center Until May 14
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Park Gyeom-su) is promoting the ‘2021 Hope Work Support Project’ and is recruiting participants until May 14.
This project, selecting a total of 285 people, consists of three fields: ▲Public Work Support (60 people) ▲Living Quarantine Work Support (125 people) ▲Educational Facility Support (100 people).
The district plans to prioritize assigning the recruited personnel to tasks responding to COVID-19 to establish a stable quarantine system.
Public Work Support assists with increased administrative tasks due to COVID-19, starting from July 1 and ending on December 20. Participants in Living Quarantine Work Support will be assigned to various departments of the district office and community service centers, while those in Educational Facility Support will be placed in local educational facilities (elementary, middle, and high schools) to handle disinfection and other quarantine duties from July 1 to October 29.
The target applicants are Gangbuk-gu residents aged 18 or older with the ability to work. However, recipients of livelihood benefits, unemployment benefits, and cases where two or more people from the same household apply will be excluded.
Additionally, those who have participated twice in the past two years or consecutively twice in public job projects excluding the 2020 COVID-19 response public jobs, Hope Jobs, and local jobs may be given lower priority.
Residents wishing to apply should visit their local community service center with identification and required documents. The district will review applicants’ eligibility and notify the final results on June 28.
Park Gyeom-su, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, said, “I hope residents facing economic difficulties due to COVID-19 can overcome these challenging times by using participation in Hope Jobs as a stepping stone. We will strive to create various jobs suited to the local economic ecosystem and characteristics to build a vibrant Gangbuk-gu.”
