Ambassador Pinkfong Releases Song Linking Baby Shark with Various Childcare Support Policies
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City announced on the 10th that Pinkfong, a global popular character created by SmartStudy and Seoul’s promotional ambassador, along with Baby Shark, has produced and released the “Child, Happy Seoul” song video, which contains Seoul’s childcare support policies.
The “Child, Happy Seoul” song was created as an exciting swing genre music for children who love Baby Shark and Pinkfong. It consists of catchy and fun lyrics and easy-to-follow choreography. This is the second video produced following the “Thank You So Much!” song, in which the promotional ambassadors Pinkfong and Baby Shark delivered messages of gratitude and encouragement to citizens who worked together to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in July last year.
The lyrics introduce various policies that can help with childcare to citizens exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and lack of caregiving time.
The video will be officially released on the same day through Seoul City’s official YouTube channel and Pinkfong’s YouTube channel. It will also be available on outdoor electronic billboards within Seoul, city bus TVs, subway stations, and monitors inside subway trains.
Han Young-hee, Director of Citizen Communication Planning, explained, “We hope that the ‘Child, Happy Seoul’ song, featuring the cute voices and choreography of Seoul’s promotional ambassadors Pinkfong and Baby Shark, can bring some energy to exhausted childcare. We also hope that the childcare support policies of Seoul City shown in the video will be helpful in citizens’ daily lives.”
Meanwhile, Baby Shark and Pinkfong, who were appointed as Seoul City promotional ambassadors in June last year, are conducting diverse promotional activities covering Seoul’s infant and toddler policies and various city administration matters based on entertaining video content.
