Aekyung Industrial's Age 20's Essence Cover Pact Ranks 2nd Best Seller on Amazon


[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lifestyle beauty company Aekyung Industrial announced on the 9th that its flagship cosmetics brand AGE 20’s’ 'Signature Essence Cover Pact' ranked 2nd in the ‘foundation’ category best sellers on Amazon in the United States.


AGE 20’s, which opened its brand store on Amazon in June last year and took its first step into the U.S. market, saw its flagship product AGE 20’s Signature Essence Cover Pact rise to 2nd place in the foundation category best sellers as of the 30th of last month. As a result, AGE 20’s, which had been showing a steady growth rate of 6-7% every month this year, recorded a high growth rate of over 130% compared to the previous month in April, the company explained. Additionally, this month, it has shown continuous growth potential by surpassing the average sales of the first quarter within just the first week. This is interpreted as the result of strengthened marketing ahead of the U.S. ‘Mother’s Day’.


An Aekyung Industrial official explained, “AGE 20’s Signature Essence Cover Pact contains 71% moisture essence inside the solid foundation using ‘Essence Pocket Technology,’ a differentiated formulation that has not been seen in the U.S. before, receiving positive responses from American consumers.”


Following AGE 20’s, Aekyung Industrial’s makeup specialty brand ‘LUNA’ also entered Amazon in the U.S., and its flagship product ‘LUNA Long Lasting Tip Concealer’ ranked 1st in the ‘Amazon Hot New Releases’ (a category introducing new products with high sales rankings) concealer section immediately after its launch.
