Celebration and Support Campaign for Single-Parent Families Day Until the 31st, Including Spot the Difference and Various Events
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] On the 10th, Seoul City announced that it will hold the awareness improvement festival "Modu Hana Grand Festival" online until the 31st to create a social atmosphere where single-parent families can live confidently without discrimination in celebration of Single-Parent Family Day.
Starting with the opening of the official Modu Hana Grand Festival website, Seoul City will conduct various events, awareness improvement campaigns, and cultural healing concerts through the website until the 31st. Special events of the Modu Hana Grand Festival include a daily lottery roulette that can be participated in once a day, as well as spot-the-difference and fill-in-the-blank games.
In particular, through personal SNS, participants can post their own special days, such as anniversaries, job success, birthdays, or any day they want to celebrate or be celebrated, and citizens who see these posts can join in cheering and encouraging them in the "I am the protagonist of the festival!" event, which is also available during the festival period. This was planned to deliver warm voices so that everyone struggling due to COVID-19 can gain courage and strength from each other.
To participate, upload a congratulatory message and photo of your own special day or a day you want to celebrate on your Instagram with the required hashtags (#ModuHanaGrandFestival #May10 #SingleParentFamilyDay #CheeringForYou).
Through prior registration, single-parent families exhausted by COVID-19 will be able to enjoy high-quality parenting mentor lectures and healing concerts from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the center’s new location can be viewed through the center’s website and the festival’s official website, and related events will also be held.
Song Jun-seo, Seoul City’s Family Officer, said, “Seoul City holds an awareness improvement festival every year to support single-parent families and enhance understanding of them,” and added, “We will continue to discover and support detailed policies to ensure that single-parent families do not face difficulties because of their status.”
