[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Nonghyup Seoul Regional Headquarters held a customer appreciation flower sharing event to promote flower consumption on the 7th at the Seo Seoul Nonghyup headquarters in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul.
The event was organized to support flower farmers struggling due to decreased flower demand caused by COVID-19 and to express gratitude to visiting customers in celebration of May, the month of family heads.
Lee Dae-yeop, head of Nonghyup Seoul Regional Headquarters, and Jo Won-min, chairman of Seo Seoul Nonghyup, along with other executives and employees, distributed 300 flowers including carnations and roses to visiting customers and urged participation in promoting flower consumption and incorporating flowers into daily life.
Head Lee Dae-yeop said, "We will continue to carry out flower consumption promotion campaigns to support flower farmers who are having a hard time due to COVID-19."
