Gyeongnam Province Begins Second Round of Applications for 'Temporary Management Support Voucher for Small-Scale Farms'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do extends the application period for the 'Temporary Management Support Voucher for Small-scale Farms' project, which supports small-scale farms to overcome COVID-19 damages, from May 14 to 31.

The support targets those who received the small-scale farm direct payment last year and are registered as agricultural management entities as of April 1 this year.

This second application and reception is for farmers who did not apply for the voucher during the first application period and those who received a notification of non-payment but were later confirmed for additional payment after filing an objection.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the agricultural or livestock cooperatives and Nonghyup Bank located in the town, township, or neighborhood office responsible for the farmland location.

Once confirmed as eligible, the voucher will be provided as a prepaid card.

The prepaid card can be used until August 31, regardless of the issuance date.

However, it is not possible to receive overlapping payments with the 4th disaster relief funds provided by other ministries, such as the Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund (Ministry of Employment and Labor), Small Business Support Fund Plus (Ministry of SMEs and Startups), Temporary Management Support Voucher for Small-scale Fisheries (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries), and Temporary Management Support Voucher for Small-scale Forestry (Korea Forest Service).
