Wemakeprice Supports Refresh Leave Every 3 Years and Early Leave on Anniversaries... 'Refresh Welfare' Draws Attention

As legal working hours are shortened and the MZ generation increasingly values work-life balance, corporate culture is rapidly changing. Amid this, Wemakeprice is gaining attention for actively operating welfare programs that allow employees to rest mentally and physically both inside and outside the company.


On the 7th, Wemakeprice announced that it is running various refresh programs such as refresh leave, which helps employees recharge and improve work efficiency, and the W-Mind Healing program, which provides psychological counseling.


First, Wemakeprice offers refresh leave for employees who have worked hard with the company to recharge. Paid leave and vacation expenses are provided every 3 years after joining. △ Employees with more than 3 years of service receive 5 days of reward leave and 500,000 KRW for vacation expenses △ Those with more than 6 years of service receive 10 days of reward leave and 1,000,000 KRW △ Those with more than 10 years of service receive 10 days of reward leave and 2,000,000 KRW.


They also operate unique leave systems. The half-day leave system allows employees to take leave in 2-hour units, and the ‘Anniversary Early Leave System,’ which allows employees to work only the morning shift on their 1st work anniversary, birthday, or wedding anniversary, enables them to spend special days more meaningfully.


The company has also prepared healing spaces inside the office to care for tired minds and bodies. Employees can take a break and clear their minds at ‘WEtteul,’ the rooftop garden of the Wemakeprice building. Named by the employees themselves, it means ‘Our Garden.’ The ‘W Cafe’ located on the first floor of the building is a space where colleagues can enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. However, due to the impact of COVID-19, the space is currently temporarily closed.


Additionally, the company operates the ‘W-Mind Healing’ program, which provides mental rest by supporting expert counseling across psychological areas such as job stress, family issues, and interpersonal relationships. Anonymity and confidentiality are strictly guaranteed, and it is especially useful for mental health treatment amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Counseling costs are fully supported up to 5 sessions per year.
