You Can Easily Explore Major Palaces by Playing the Commentary Video

The Gyeongbokgung Management Office will pilot a cultural exploration program for the hearing impaired on the 7th, 11th, and 18th. The plan is to create a barrier-free viewing environment at cultural heritage sites to convey the true value of Gyeongbokgung.

The program offers ten hearing-impaired residents of Seoul, who have made prior reservations, a hanbok experience and free exploration of Gyeongbokgung. For the latter, the "Viewing Service for the Hearing Impaired" planned by the Gyeongbokgung Management Office will be utilized. By playing the explanatory videos through the QR code embedded in the sign language interpretation promotional materials, visitors can easily navigate the main pavilions.

The management office stated, "This will set a new milestone for disability experience programs in that hearing-impaired individuals can independently view and experience the palaces and royal tombs."
