[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jeju Air announced on the 7th that it will hold an event waiving the itinerary change and cancellation fees once for customers who booked flights on Japanese routes.
Jeju Air offers benefits to customers who purchase tickets for the Narita and Osaka routes departing by July 31, waiving the itinerary change fee and reservation cancellation fee once each until June 30.
However, free reservation cancellations and itinerary changes are only possible when applying for cancellation or itinerary change directly on the website, and customers should note that if there is a fare difference when changing the itinerary, the additional amount must be paid.
During the event period, passengers who purchase Flyback, Flyback Plus, and New Class seats on the applicable routes will receive an additional 10kg of checked baggage free of charge on top of the 15kg, 20kg, and 30kg baggage allowances respectively, and Jeju Air Refresh Points will be additionally credited by 3% to customers who purchase these seats.
The New Class seat, a premium seat with wider spacing front, back, left, and right, is being sold at a discounted price starting from 145,400 KRW based on the one-way total fare including fuel surcharge and airport facility usage fee, and a 30,000 KRW discount coupon for Move, the airport sending and pickup service, is also provided.
A Jeju Air official said, "We prepared this event to minimize the economic burden caused by itinerary changes for international route customers," and added, "We will continue to provide various benefits to enhance the travel convenience of Jeju Air customers."
