[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] The Korea Parcel Delivery Workers' Union under the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions Service Federation will announce the results of the strike vote by union members and future struggle plans on the 7th.

On the 6th, the Parcel Delivery Workers' Union stated in a press release, "Tomorrow (the 7th), we will hold a press conference at the Service Federation's main conference room in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul," adding, "The results of today's strike vote were supposed to be announced, but they will be fully replaced by the press conference."

The union is currently facing conflicts with a large apartment complex in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, due to vehicle access control issues. Additionally, they have accused CJ Logistics of violating the Industrial Safety and Health Act by filing a complaint against the CEO after CJ Logistics agreed to use low-floor vehicles for deliveries in underground parking lots.

At this press conference, the union is expected to announce plans for a general strike urging parcel delivery companies to resolve the issues, as well as demands directed at the parcel delivery companies and the Ministry of Labor.
