Recruiting 1,600 People Monthly on a Rolling Basis Until Year-End

According to Daegu City on the 6th, at the 44 'Digital Learning Centers' set up throughout the city, various courses such as smartphone and PC usage, digital content creation, coding, and app development will be available until the end of this year.
On the 3rd, Daegu City held a kickoff meeting for the 'Citizen Digital Competency Enhancement Education Project' at the City Hall annex conference room with officials from 8 districts/counties, the Korea Intelligent Information Society Agency, and Kyungil University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, officially announcing the start of this project.
For this project, Daegu City secured Digital Learning Centers by utilizing district/county informatization education centers, administrative welfare centers, libraries, and welfare centers, and will recruit about 1,600 trainees monthly on an ongoing basis.
The curriculum is broadly divided into Digital Basics, Digital Life, Digital Advanced, and Digital Special, offering various detailed courses designed to improve skills step-by-step according to the trainees' levels.
Kim Jeong-gi, Director of Planning and Coordination at Daegu City, urged, "We hope many citizens actively participate in the education so that Daegu can become a city where digital technology is always easy and enjoyed by all."
