[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 6th that it will launch 'label-free sparkling water' following its label-free bottled water and early morning jujube cherry tomatoes.
The newly released products are two types of 'Only Price Sparkling Water ECO,' which are private brand (PB) items. They will be available for purchase at all stores starting from the 13th.
Only Price Sparkling Water ECO is an eco-friendly product without labels, injected with the maximum carbonation volume possible at room temperature, characterized by a sharp, tingling taste. The citrus fruit-flavored product emphasizes refreshment and is expected to see increased demand during the summer season.
Lotte Mart expects to reduce approximately 3,600 kg of packaging materials annually through the launch of these two label-free sparkling water products.
A Lotte Mart representative said, “Considering customers' interest in label-free products, we decided to introduce private brand products without labels,” adding, “We plan to lead eco-friendly consumption by expanding products that improve recyclability in line with the eco-friendly consumption trend in the future.”
