[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Shin-Kori Unit 1 reached 100% output after resuming power generation on the 1st.


Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Kim Jun-seok) announced on the 5th that Shin-Kori Unit 1 (Pressurized Water Reactor type, 1 million kW class), which completed the 6th planned preventive maintenance, resumed power generation on the 1st and reached 100% output at 22:45 on the 4th.


A Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters official stated, “During the planned preventive maintenance period, statutory inspections were conducted in accordance with the Nuclear Safety Act and the Electric Utility Act, and inspections and maintenance of major equipment and facilities were performed to improve the reliability of the power generation facilities.”
