The 120th Scholarship Recipient Born, The Prestige of Eduwill CEO's Social Contribution Committee Activities

Comprehensive education company Eduwill (CEO Park Myung-kyu) Social Contribution Committee has produced its 120th scholarship student this year.

Since the selection of the first Eduwill scholarship students in 2010, the scholarship support program has been steadily ongoing, selecting 10 middle school students each year who are unable to focus on their studies due to financial difficulties, providing 1.2 million KRW per person annually until they graduate from middle school. As of March, including the selection of the 12th batch of scholarship students, a total of 120 students have completed or are continuing their studies with Eduwill scholarships.

Park Myung-kyu, CEO of Eduwill, stated, “We are committed to supporting education for youth with the hope that they can brighten their dreams through learning. We will continue our steady sharing efforts to help local youth realize their dreams.”

In addition to scholarship support, the Eduwill Social Contribution Committee has been providing support for the qualification exam for out-of-school youth for 13 years. This social contribution activity by Eduwill’s CEO includes providing qualification exam course vouchers and textbooks, benefiting hundreds of probationary youth annually. In March, a donation ceremony was held for course vouchers and textbooks worth approximately 450 million KRW for 330 out-of-school youth. Since 2004, the total value of course vouchers and textbooks provided has exceeded 6 billion KRW. The ‘Employee Sharing Fund,’ where Eduwill employees and the company raise donations annually, is also used for educational support projects for vulnerable groups.

Under the vision of realizing dreams in the local community, the Eduwill Social Contribution Committee continues various sharing activities for neighbors in need beyond educational support.

Meanwhile, Eduwill is a comprehensive education company honored with three Presidential Awards and 13 government agency awards. It ranked first in the Korean Research public official preference and awareness survey and has been officially certified three times by the Korea Records Institute (KRI), Korea’s Guinness Book, for producing the highest number of successful real estate agent exam candidates.
