Global game data platform startup OP.GG is fostering a family-friendly corporate culture by implementing a company-wide paid leave for five days in May, the month of family.
To actively practice a family-friendly corporate culture, OP.GG is instituting a five-day company-wide paid leave starting from Children's Day on May 5, providing all employees with ample time to rest and create precious memories with their families by temporarily stepping away from work. In addition to this company-wide paid leave, the company is also gaining attention by giving personalized gifts such as massage guns and limited-edition T-shirts to employees’ families as a thoughtful gesture.
An OP.GG representative stated, “In celebration of May as the month of family, we hope that this company-wide leave system will allow our employees to fully recover from the fatigue of the first half of 2021 through sufficient rest and enjoy a happy holiday by making more precious memories with their families.”
Meanwhile, this is not OP.GG’s first long-term paid leave policy. Last year-end, to prevent burnout syndrome among employees, the company provided two weeks of company-wide OFF time along with the OP.G.Care package, continuously implementing various employee-friendly policies and events. These unprecedented efforts to coexist with employees have attracted significant attention within the industry.
Additionally, OP.GG is currently conducting a large-scale open recruitment for all job positions from April 19 to May 7. Detailed information about the recruitment can be found on the official recruitment website.
