Police: "No signs of homicide. Investigating missing person case"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] It has been 13 days since a man in his 40s went missing at a karaoke bar in Incheon, but his whereabouts remain unknown.
According to the Jungbu Police Station in Incheon on the 3rd, a report was received last month on the 26th that a man in his 40s, Mr. A, had gone missing.
Before reporting to the police, Mr. A's father made a call saying, "My son, who went out on the 21st of last month, has not returned home."
The police confirmed that Mr. A visited a karaoke bar in Sinpo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, with an acquaintance, Mr. B, on the 21st of last month.
Additionally, closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage captured Mr. A and Mr. B entering the karaoke bar around 7:30 p.m. that day.
Later, it was confirmed that Mr. B left the karaoke bar around 10:50 p.m., approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes later.
However, there was no footage of Mr. A leaving the premises.
Mr. A's movements inside the karaoke bar were not detected.
Mr. B testified to the police that "Mr. A said he wanted to stay longer at the bar, so I left first."
The police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage, but as of the 13th day since the disappearance, Mr. A's whereabouts remain unknown.
Mr. B is known to be an acquaintance from the neighborhood where Mr. A resides.
A police official stated, "There is no evidence of homicide or a body found so far. The investigation is still being conducted as a missing person case and has not been escalated to a violent crime."
