[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting prospective entrepreneurs and early-stage startup companies to move into the ‘Venture Business Startup Support Center’ until the 13th.
Jointly operated by the district and Konkuk University, the Gwangjin-gu Venture Business Startup Support Center provides various support such as initial funding loans, business expense support, and management consulting to help companies preparing to start a business or in the early stages of startup grow into sound small and medium-sized enterprises.
The recruitment target is a total of 12 companies, either prospective entrepreneurs or companies within two years of establishment, scheduled to move in on June 1.
The residency period is two years, with the possibility of a one-year extension based on performance evaluation thereafter.
The office space for residents ranges from approximately 17 to 24㎡ in exclusive area, with rental deposits between 750,000 and 1,050,000 KRW and monthly rent ranging from about 175,000 to 245,000 KRW depending on the area; management fees and parking fees are separate.
Applicants wishing to apply should prepare the application form for residency approval, business plan, corporate registration certificate, business registration certificate, and other required documents posted on the Gwangjin-gu Office website, and submit them via email or visit the Regional Economy Division in person.
The selection results will be announced after document screening and interview evaluation by experts, followed by deliberation by the committee.
