[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Dongkuk Steel has opened Korea's first steel brand channel on YouTube, 'Luxteel TV'.
Luxteel TV is a YouTube channel launched using Dongkuk Steel's first domestic premium color steel sheet brand, 'Luxteel', as a medium. Although POSCO operates an official YouTube channel called 'POSCO TV', Dongkuk Steel is the first to open a channel that directly communicates with consumers solely under a steel brand.
Dongkuk Steel established this channel to strengthen non-face-to-face marketing in preparation for the post-COVID era and to deliver the latest trends and information on color steel sheets.
The content of Luxteel TV differs from conventional introduction videos that simply highlight product features, as a dedicated color steel sheet designer appears directly to vividly convey the brand's strengths, design characteristics, colors, and textures.
On Dongkuk Steel's official Instagram, to commemorate the opening of the Luxteel TV channel, a giveaway will be held from the 6th to the 12th for subscribers who liked the videos, selected by lottery. Dongkuk Steel plans to continuously develop Luxteel TV content, producing not only product introduction videos but also footage of color steel sheet installation sites and expert interviews.
