Gwanak-gu, Housing Price Determination, Announcement, and Objection Submission


[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) announced on the 29th of last month that the individual and collective housing prices as of January 1, 2021, have been determined and publicly announced.


The housing prices determined and announced this time represent the combined price of land and housing, and will be used as various taxation data such as property tax and comprehensive real estate tax in the future.


Housing price inquiries can be made online through the Real Estate Public Price Informer website or by visiting the Property Acquisition Tax Division at the district office or the local community service center until May 28.


Housing owners and stakeholders who have objections to the housing prices can submit an objection form to the Property Acquisition Tax Division at the district office or the local community service center, or submit it online through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport website.


For housing prices with received objections, a re-investigation will be conducted regarding the characteristics of the housing and the appropriateness of the selected price, followed by a review. The results will be individually notified to the submitters, and the adjusted decision will be determined and publicly announced on June 25.


For more detailed inquiries related to the public announcement of housing prices, contact the Property Acquisition Tax Division at the district office for individual houses (detached, multi-family, etc.), and the Korea Real Estate Board Seoul Southern Branch for collective housing (apartments, multi-unit houses, etc.).


Park Junhee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, urged, “Since the individually announced housing prices will be used as the basis for taxation such as property tax and comprehensive real estate tax, we ask all residents to take an interest in viewing and filing objections to the individual housing prices and to be sure to check within the viewing period.”
