On the 2nd, MBN stated, "A staff member tested positive for COVID-19," adding, "We are currently testing close contacts as well as secondary and tertiary contacts and are awaiting the results."

They continued, "Other staff members who were tested earlier have received negative results," and "The production schedule will be adjusted based on future test results."

'Voice King' is a large-scale vocal competition program where celebrity contestants compete for the title of 'King of Vocals,' and it has gained popularity with ratings in the 6% range.

However, controversy arose when, during the first broadcast on the 13th, a subtitle stating 'Personal quarantine rules were followed' was shown, despite over 90 contestants appearing on stage without wearing masks.
