[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] The story of a man who reportedly spent over $1 million (approximately 1.11 billion KRW) on plastic surgery over more than 20 years after having his first procedure at the age of 17 has been revealed.

According to major foreign media on the 30th of last month (local time), Justin Jedlica (40), who lives in Los Angeles, USA, has undergone plastic surgery over 1,000 times to date. After the surgeries, he was nicknamed the "Ken Doll" because he resembled Barbie doll's boyfriend, Ken.

In an interview with the media, Justin said he is never satisfied with his appearance. He also expressed his belief, saying, "Plastic surgery is a way for me to express my creativity," and added, "My surgeries are for those who need reconstruction, and I advise people who do not need plastic surgery to never go under the knife."

He then reflected on his past, revealing, "I thought my nose was big when I was a child." He said, "Around the age of 14, I wanted to fix my face, but I had to wait until I was of legal age for the first surgery," and added, "I went under the knife for the first time after my 18th birthday." When he completed his first rhinoplasty, he said, "I felt like I had what I wanted in life."

Justin also mentioned his idols, naming Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers, and Dolly Parton. He said, "Plastic surgery was an exploration of my artistry and creativity, and it was about expressing what I consider beautiful."

He further stated that he does not agree with the expression that he is "addicted to plastic surgery" because "plastic surgery is already a 'mess' worldwide."

Meanwhile, foreign media reported that Justin personally designed some of the implants that go into his body. Justin said, "I conceptualized many surgeries and custom-designed implants," adding that he considers himself an "innovator."

He revealed, "I love the process of body modification like art," and currently, "I run a plastic surgery consulting business, helping people who want plastic surgery or clients with physical disabilities find the right procedures."

Justin said he plans to spend an additional $1 million on future plastic surgeries with the goal of becoming "the person who has had the most plastic surgeries in the world."
