- Finding New Owners for All Units Amid Praise for Excellent Location and Superior Product Quality
- Commercial Facility Sales Planned Following Complete Sell-Out of Renobourg Bucheon Knowledge Industry Center
Daeduk Steel Co., Ltd., which has grown into the top steel distribution company in Korea over the past 50 years, announced that its first knowledge industry center, Renoburg Bucheon, launched in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, was completely sold out upon opening.
Renoburg Bucheon is a knowledge industry center that Daeduk Steel has prepared for a long time, designed as a manufacturing-specialized space incorporating the philosophy of Germany, an advanced manufacturing country, attracting great interest from demanders. Considering that it usually takes about a year for all units in a knowledge industry center to be sold, this is an unprecedented achievement.
Industry insiders cited the unmatched product quality and excellent brand naming compared to other knowledge industry centers as reasons for the successful sales.
In fact, ‘Renoburg’ is a compound word combining ‘Burg,’ meaning ‘castle,’ symbolizing a German place name, and ‘Renovation,’ meaning ‘innovation,’ representing a new manufacturing factory embodying Germany’s manufacturing environment and culture. In other words, Renoburg Bucheon reflects the philosophy of Germany, a manufacturing powerhouse that values efficiency even in 1㎡ of space.
A sales official stated, "The excellent location in Bucheon, which enjoys great access to metropolitan transportation and new city infrastructure, combined with the innovative manufacturing-type knowledge industry center that differentiates it from existing centers, seems to have caused this explosive response," adding, "Following the complete sale of the knowledge industry center, we expect good results in the sales of commercial facilities as well."
Renoburg Bucheon is constructed with approximately 11,600 pyeong (about 38,300㎡) of total floor area, consisting of one basement floor and seven above-ground floors. It is adjacent to industrial complexes and factory clusters such as Ojeong General Industrial Complex and Seoun General Industrial Complex, making it an ideal location for business. It is also close to traditional industrial zones like Bucheon in Gyeonggi, Bupyeong/Gyeyang in Incheon, and Magok Industrial Complex in Seoul. Within about 1 km, there is excellent access to major highways such as the Gyeongin Expressway (Bucheon IC) and the Seoul Ring Expressway (Jungdong IC, Gyeyang IC), facilitating convenient travel to Seoul and the metropolitan area.
Additionally, it is designed with a ceiling height of 7 meters (in some units), the highest in Bucheon, which is higher than the average ceiling height of typical knowledge industry centers (about 5.5 meters). A drive-in system is applied on all floors, and a wide 9.2-meter parking ramp is installed to enhance competitiveness. Furthermore, it features a generously designed 7-meter-wide straight vehicle passage, parking lots approximately 191% larger than the legally required number of parking spaces, individual parking lots for each unit, and various community facilities not seen in existing knowledge industry centers, strengthening its differentiation.
Since its founding in 1969, Daeduk Steel Co., Ltd. has walked the path of Korea’s top steel distribution with honesty and sincerity amid turbulent changes. It supplies only the best materials stored in over 10,000 pyeong of indoor and outdoor yards, including all KS-certified products from Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk Steel, covering various fields from Korea’s basic industries such as civil engineering and construction to machinery manufacturing and factory equipment. The company is committed to customer service through prompt delivery anywhere nationwide.
The commercial facilities of Renoburg Bucheon, which will continue the success momentum of the knowledge industry center, are scheduled to be sold in early May, with a model house located in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do.
