[Concall] LG Electronics "Car semiconductor shortage affects some clients in 2Q... No issue with VS business turning profitable in 2H"

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] On the 29th, during the Q1 earnings conference call, LG Electronics stated, "We believe there is little issue in achieving a turnaround to profitability in the second half for the VS Business Division," adding, "However, the supply disruption of automotive semiconductors is expected to continue for a considerable period, and from Q2, some clients may face risks."

They continued, "Regarding the shortage of DDI chips in the home appliance market such as TVs, an adequate inventory has been secured, and we are closely cooperating with suppliers, so there should be little concern about supply shortages in the TV production sector."
