'Relay Campaign: Working Together, Caring, Protecting, and Creating a Happy Republic of Korea'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun District, participated in the "Let's Overcome Low Birthrate Together! National Po(4)ham Relay Challenge" at the district office meeting room on the 29th.
This is a national participation campaign with the purpose of "working together, caring together, protecting together, and creating a happy Korea together," where participants post promotional photos on SNS and nominate two next participants to continue the challenge.
The term "Po(4)ham" symbolizes "the word 'together' repeated four times" and the Chinese character Po (包).
Mayor Moon, who joined the challenge upon the nomination of Oh Se-hyun, Mayor of Asan, said, "As the saying goes, it takes a whole village to raise a child, and I will do my best to make Seodaemun District a good place to have and raise children."
He also nominated Andong-woo, Mayor of Jeju City, and Kim Jong-sik, Mayor of Mokpo City, as the next relay participants.
Seodaemun District is striving to enhance the happiness of children and parents through various projects such as promoting the establishment of a public postpartum care center, expanding part-time and night childcare, and operating the Digital Seodaemun Kids Center that provides online childcare content.
