[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 29th that next year, the Saecheon New Deal 300 project will be carried out in 50 villages, and applications from fishing villages will be accepted from September 6 to 10.
In this contest, emphasis will be placed on regional coexistence and harmony, allowing two or more fishing villages to jointly establish and submit a regional plan. As before, a single fishing village can also submit one plan.
Additional points will be awarded if the plan includes a 'Living Service Complex Facility,' a shared facility freely accessible to everyone. Each fishing village finally selected as a project site will receive up to 15 billion KRW in support.
