Daewoo E&C Reports 1Q Operating Profit of 229.4 Billion KRW, Up 90% YoY

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced on the 29th that it posted provisional results for the first quarter of this year with consolidated sales of 1.939 trillion KRW and operating profit of 229.4 billion KRW. Compared to the same period last year, sales decreased by 2.4%, but operating profit increased by 89.7%. Net profit for the period was 147.9 billion KRW, up 138.9% during the same period.
