According to Jeollanam-do and Jangseong-gun on the 29th, the head of Hwangryong-myeon, Mr. A, tested positive for COVID-19 in the morning and was classified as Jeonnam case number 1049 (Jangseong case number 46). The route of infection is under investigation.
Mr. A reportedly underwent testing after showing symptoms such as chills. Upon receiving notification of Mr. A's positive result from the private testing agency, Jangseong-gun closed the Hwangryong-myeon Administrative Welfare Center until the 30th and conducted disinfection and sterilization.
COVID-19 diagnostic tests were conducted on all 20 employees of the Administrative Welfare Center, and even if the results were negative, they were placed under self-quarantine for two weeks.

Currently, headquarters staff have been assigned to the Hwangryong-myeon Administrative Welfare Center to inform about the temporary closure and handle urgent tasks.

The county plans to form a work team from headquarters staff and dispatch them to Hwangryong-myeon from the 3rd to the 12th of next month to support urgent civil affairs processing and resident guidance.
