[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] 'Second One,' a healing complex cultural space and hot place in Suwan District, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will have its grand opening on the 30th.
Second One offers a variety of foods in one space, including premium coffee, signature bakery, and dining presented by star chef 'Chef Kim Dohyung.'
It is a large-scale three-story building with a total area of about 3,200 pyeong, combining various contents such as cafes, restaurants, exhibitions, and markets. Each floor features concept-themed interiors, and a wide-open garden is created in front of the building, providing a nature-friendly space.
In particular, the exhibition hall of Second One, called 'Art Room,' is hosting a solo exhibition by artist Han Jueun, who is active between Sweden and Korea. The exhibition is titled 'Blue horse,' showcasing unique works that blend Eastern and Western sensibilities using the blue painting technique seen in Nordic tableware.
In addition, visitors can experience various contents such as permanent exhibitions by mid-career and emerging artists, performances, flea markets, pop-up stores, and classes.
