[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The nonprofit organization Happy Management, sponsored by Hunet, announced on the 27th that it held the 9th entrance ceremony for the "Happy Management University."
At the entrance ceremony, Chairman Kwon Daewook, Hunet CEO Jo Youngtak, along with CEOs and advisory committee members of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) selected as the 9th class, and alumni CEOs of Happy Management University attended.
"Happy Management University" is a free executive education program created by Hunet to help strengthen the leadership and network of SME CEOs. Since its launch in 2016, it has produced over 400 Happy Management CEOs. It has become a representative executive program for SMEs, gaining attention for providing premium education to CEOs free of charge.
In his welcoming remarks, Chairman Kwon Daewook said, "Employees must be happy for the company and the country to be happy, and for employees to be happy, CEOs must make a firm commitment to happy management. I hope we can create 10,000 happy management companies together through Happy Management University."
During the 12-week "Happy Management University," online lectures on management, leadership, and strategy necessary for CEOs are provided, along with special lectures and discussions by famous figures every Monday evening. Lecturers include notable individuals such as Son Wook, Chairman of Happy Sharing 125, Lee Geumryong, Chairman of Koglo.com, and Yoon Eunki, Chairman of the Korea Collaboration Promotion Association, who participate as talent donors. Additionally, the participating companies receive free employee training to support their growth into strong small enterprises.
Meanwhile, Happy Management conducts various Creating Shared Value (CSV) activities to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies, including the "Happy Management University." More details can be found on the Happy Management website.
