NH Savings Bank Launches Mobile Financial Platform 'NH FIC Bank'

NH Savings Bank Launches Mobile Financial Platform 'NH FIC Bank'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Savings Bank announced on the 26th that it has launched the mobile financial platform 'NH FIC Bank.'

'NH FIC Bank' is a compound word of Finance and Pick, implying 'picking financial know-how with a smart perspective.' It features strengthening the digital banking functions of the existing NH Savings Bank smart banking mobile app and attaching a new brand to pursue innovation and change as a digital savings bank.

NH Savings Bank has made great efforts to provide customers with more convenient and simple financial services through 'NH FIC Bank.' It supports non-face-to-face account opening, contact transfers, certificate issuance, and in addition to existing PIN, pattern, and fingerprint authentication, iPhone users can log in using face recognition only through Face ID. It also enhances digital authentication services such as telecom carrier PASS app authentication and non-possession mobile OTP. Furthermore, it allows deposits through a 'regular deposit dedicated ordinary deposit account' that is not subject to account opening restrictions within 20 days, enabling multiple non-face-to-face time deposits to be subscribed within a short period.

The check card is offered in partnership with NH Nonghyup Card, providing various benefits. Users can access the nationwide Nonghyup ATM network and merchant payment services, earn unlimited NH points equivalent to 0.2% of the amount spent at all domestic merchants, and receive smart accumulation services that automatically find frequently used service areas and accumulate up to three times the basic points.

The new 'NH FIC Bank' also includes open banking. This allows NH Savings Bank accounts to be registered and viewed in other financial companies' apps, and users can register accounts from banks, securities firms, and other financial institutions in 'NH FIC Bank' to view and transfer funds all at once. Open banking has completed pilot operation and stabilization with the Korea Federation of Savings Banks and plans to launch customer services in early May.

Non-face-to-face loan services have also become much more convenient. The 'Online Sunshine Loan' allows applications and deposits up to 15 million KRW to be completed entirely non-face-to-face. The 'NH Employee Happiness Loan' is partnered with Toss, Pinset, Bank Salad, NHN Payco, Finda, Fink, Kakao Pay, etc., enabling users to check conditions such as interest rates and limits.

NH Savings Bank offers loan products such as NH Savings Bank Sunshine Loan, Saetdol 2, and NH Employee Happiness Loan, as well as deposit products like NH Happiness Plus Ordinary Deposit, which offers a high annual interest rate of 1.3% even for just one day of deposit, and Mid-term Cancellation Good Time Deposit, which guarantees contract interest rates by period even upon early termination.

Choi Kwangsoo, CEO of NH Savings Bank, said, “We have strengthened digital banking services to respond to the rapidly changing financial environment such as open banking and account transfers,” adding, “We will continue to advance mobile services after the launch and sequentially introduce new products and services to provide customers with more convenient and diverse financial services by enhancing digital capabilities through MyData, RPA, and more.”
