Gwangju Bank Holds Communication Session with Employees Achieving Results Using BDT

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 23rd that it held a communication session with employees who actively utilized the Branch Digital Transformation (BDT) service in business and achieved excellent results on the 22nd.

Branch Digital Transformation (BDT) is an electronic business card system that supports customers to handle transactions via their mobile phones without visiting the branch. Through a URL received via text message or KakaoTalk, consultations and arrangements regarding financial products are conducted.

At this meeting, President Song Jong-wook and the employees shared best practices and improvement points for utilizing the Branch Digital Transformation (BDT), which is the first step in promoting a digital finance strategy linking face-to-face and non-face-to-face sales.

President Song Jong-wook of Gwangju Bank said, “With the entry of big tech and fintech companies accelerating the transition to digital finance, a new challenge that does not fear change is necessary,” and added, “Let us create a vibrant and sustainable 100-year bank through active communication among employees and efforts to secure digital competitiveness.”

Meanwhile, emphasizing horizontal communication with employees, President Song Jong-wook has recently conducted management strategy meetings as ‘TokTok Day,’ where branch managers freely exchange opinions, quickly reflecting frontline sales site opinions into management policies, earning favorable reviews from employees.
